Game Rules

The Snake game (also known as Snake, Tunnel) is a logic puzzle. The objective of the game is to draw a snake that connects two marked cells (head and tail) on a square or rectangular grid.

Find a continuous line of black cells connecting the head and tail of the snake, while respecting the following constraints:

• The numbers outside the grid indicate how many black cells must appear in each row and column.
• The snake cannot cross or touch itself, not even diagonally.
• The snake’s path must be unbroken, forming a single continuous line.

🚧Constraints🚧

• The snake must start at the head (marked cell) and end at the tail (another marked cell).
• Each cell of the snake must be adjacent to the previous one (up, down, left, or right only).
• The snake must never form loops or touch any other part of itself, even at the corners.

💡Tips💡

• Start with rows and columns that have high numbers.
• Use elimination: some cells can never be part of the snake.
• Mentally trace the areas where the snake cannot cross.
